The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor to print the 2026 edition of the Road, Bridge and Other Related Laws of Illinois. Work Details

The vendor will print 1,500 copies of the Road & Bridge Laws of Illinois FY26. This will include all statutes from the 2022 edition along with updates from legislative sessions in 2022 through 2026. The book must contain a title page, forward (provided by the purchaser), legislative changes, table of contents, and an index formatted according to Illinois Compiled Statutes standards. Recommendations for statute inclusion or exclusion are expected from the vendor. The physical specifications include: - Size: 7 ¼” X 9-7/8” - Cover: 65# patina matte or similar, laminated or aqueous coated on one side; solid color agreed upon with black and white photo provided by purchaser. - Body: 40# offset or off-white recyclable paper with black ink; no copyright information on pages. - Binding: Perfect bound T3S. - Packaging: Books shrink-wrapped and boxed with labels indicating quantity and printing date. Press proofs must be provided by October 1, 2026, with final delivery of books by December 15, 2026.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution and end on December 15, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must be located within the continental United States and are not allowed to outsource labor. The vendor must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the State as additionally insured for general commercial liability ($1 million per occurrence) and auto liability ($1 million per occurrence). Subcontracting is not permitted without prior written approval from the State.
