State of Idaho Chinden Campus Building Automation Systems Maintenance

Background

The State of Idaho's Division of Purchasing, on behalf of the Idaho Division of Public Works, is issuing this Invitation To Bid (ITB) to solicit bids from qualified firms to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the Building Automation Systems (BAS) located at the Chinden Campus. The Chinden Campus consists of eight office buildings and one café, acquired by the State in December 2017. The primary goal is to enhance energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve occupant comfort through effective management of BAS.

Work Details

The contractor will provide hardware and software support services for twenty-four Tridium controllers located within five buildings at the Chinden Campus. Specific tasks include: - Troubleshooting and repairing control interface issues on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs); - Providing and installing new field-level controllers and JACE-9000 controllers; - Troubleshooting control systems for Variable Air Volume (VAV) Boxes; - Maintaining Software Maintenance Agreements for Niagara Supervisor; - Performing monthly maintenance on the Niagara Supervisor Server; - Providing remote online support; - Responding to emergency service requests within specified timeframes; - Conducting quarterly reviews with the Facilities Manager. All replacement equipment must be new and unused.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be for one year, with potential renewals extending up to a total contract term of five years upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the State of Idaho's Chinden Campus located in Boise, Idaho.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be Tridium Advanced Certified and an authorized Niagara N4 dealer with a minimum of ten years of verifiable experience in supplying and installing Tridium-based building automation systems. Bidders must submit copies of technician certifications with their bid. On-site technicians must reside within a 60-mile radius of Boise, Idaho.
