The scope of work, to be completed under a single prime contract, includes: - General construction - Mechanical work - Selective demolition - Interior restoration - Finishes restoration - Casework replacement - Plumbing - Electrical construction Key tasks include: - Selective demolition of damaged building components, such as removal of affected gypsum board, ceilings, flooring, casework, mechanical and electrical systems, and related materials necessary for reconstruction. - Reconstruction of interior partitions and building assemblies, including installation of metal stud framing, gypsum board, insulation, firestopping, joint sealants, rough and finish carpentry, and related architectural repairs. - Replacement and restoration of interior finishes, such as acoustical ceiling systems, luxury vinyl tile flooring, carpet tile, resilient base, painting, coatings, wall protection, and other finish materials to restore all affected areas. - Furnishing and installing new plastic laminate casework, millwork, accessories, and associated architectural components to replace damaged elements. - Modifications and restoration of plumbing, HVAC, lighting, power controls, and associated electrical systems to support reconstructed spaces and return the facility to full operation after the fire event.
