Facilities Maintenance Repair Services

Background

The Department of General Services (DGS) of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is soliciting Contractors to qualify responsible and responsive Contractors for performing repair or preventative maintenance of facility equipment or systems. This includes roofing services and facility control services, which involve predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance of proprietary facility control systems that manage building systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and temperature controls.

Work Details

Contractors will provide the following services: 1. Electrical Services: Preventative maintenance, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and corrective repair services for electrical equipment including switches, switchgear, compressors, and related components. 2. HVAC Services: Maintenance for HVAC equipment including inspections, duct cleaning, boilers, chillers, rooftop units, and control systems. 3. Pumps & Controls Services: Maintenance for pumps including vibration analysis and lubrication. 4. Steam Maintenance Services: Maintenance for steam equipment including heat exchangers and pressure reducing valves. 5. Plumbing Services: Maintenance for plumbing systems including domestic booster systems and sewage ejector systems. 6. Cafeteria and Kitchen Services: Maintenance for kitchen equipment such as coffee machines and dishwashers. 7. Facility Control Services: Predictive and corrective maintenance for facility control systems managing HVAC operations. 8. Roofing Services: Preventative maintenance including inspections and minor repairs to existing roofing systems.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract is five years from the effective date with an option to renew for an additional five-year term at the Commonwealth's discretion.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at facilities owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must have two years of experience in relevant service categories. They must complete various certifications including the Iran Free Procurement Certification form and Worker Protection Certification form to be eligible for contract award.
