No Solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy. The 22nd Contracting Squadron is searching for qualified vendors who can provide troubleshooting & repair of aircraft power pits. Please see the attached statement of work (SoW) As part of its market research, 22 CONS/PKA is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exist an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of 22 CONS/PKA market research. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which the 22 CONS/PKA can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Summary: Background The 22nd Contracting Squadron at McConnell AFB is seeking qualified vendors to provide troubleshooting and repair services for aircraft power pits. This Sources Sought announcement is part of market research to identify potential sources capable of fulfilling this requirement. The agency's mission includes maintaining operational readiness and ensuring the functionality of critical equipment. Work Details The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to fix the Power Pit and Jet Power unit in Buildings 1125 and 1126. Specific tasks include: 1. Troubleshooting the Power Converter and Power Pit assembly in buildings 1125 (main hangar bay) and 1126 (center bay), as well as building 1124 (south bay). All applicable units are currently non-functional. 2. Diagnosing issues such as a potentially damaged track motor or tracks in Building 1125, power loss between the wall unit and pit in Building 1126, and a faulty power transfer cable in Building 1124. 3. Delivering all parts required for repairs. 4. Furnishing necessary personnel, labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and services for installation of new equipment. 5. Disposing of all packaging material that accompanies shipment. 6. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Period of Performance The performance period for this contract shall not exceed 45 days after award. Place of Performance McConnell AFB, Kansas Bidder Requirements Contractors must furnish necessary permits, licenses, and insurance. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Contractor personnel must be available during normal duty hours (Monday through Friday from 0700-1600) and adhere to installation security policies.
