Summary: Background The Fort Wayne VA Medical Center is seeking to construct concrete pads to support maintenance for existing building electrical, HVAC, and minor repairs. This project aims to enhance the operational efficiency of the HVAC systems at the facility, which is part of the Northern Indiana Health Care System Campus located at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Work Details The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to construct: - One (1) single whole building pad behind Building #8 for maintenance support. - Maintenance pads in front of Buildings T-4, T-5, and T-6. Specific requirements include: - All concrete pads shall be 6 inches thick and constructed using rebar. - Installation of powder-coated aluminum railings around the pads at buildings T-4, T-5, and T-6 with a gate or removable section for maintenance access. - Addition of flashing between the concrete and the building to prevent water buildup against the structure. - Concrete must be formed to ensure proper drainage towards two preset drains. Period of Performance The work is to be completed within 60 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance All work will be conducted at the Fort Wayne VA Medical Center located at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805.
