Contractor shall provide all delivery and shipping of sixty (60) fully assembled brand name or equal to Metro Lifeline Emergency Response crash cart. SEE ATTACHED REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ)
Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 16, is seeking to procure sixty (60) fully assembled emergency response crash carts. This acquisition aims to replace discontinued models used by physician and nursing teams responsible for crash cart procedures and reporting, thereby enhancing the operational readiness of medical facilities. Work Details Contractor shall provide all delivery and shipping of sixty (60) fully assembled Metro Lifeline Emergency Response crash carts or equivalent. The crash carts must be constructed of durable polymer material and include the following specifications: - Dimensions: Length 2 ft 10.5 in, Width 1 ft 5.75 in, Height 39 in. - Features: Dual locking mechanisms for pharmaceuticals and supplies, full locking capability for all drawers, integrated oxygen tank holder, suction rack, sharps container bracket, defibrillator rack. - Accessories: Includes a hospital-grade electrical outlet strip integrated into the cart, adjustable defibrillator tray, suction pump shelf, various drawer dividers, locking side bin, cord manager, gel bin, backboard kit, IV pole, and sharps bracket. - Compliance: Must meet or exceed functional and dimensional equivalence of referenced InterMetro cart system and comply with VA safety standards. Period of Performance Delivery is required within 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Place of Performance Delivery will be made to the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System located at 2200 Fort Roots Drive, Bldg 182, Little Rock, AR 72114. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSBC) certified. The contractor must provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorization when quoting other than brand name products. Warranty information must also be included in the proposal. Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail) This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent and/or closely related prior contract history for supplying Lifeline/Metro emergency response crash carts. Prior awards include Seva Technical Services (36C24624P0920) for “LIFELINE CRASH CARTS” valued at $18,401 and AB Martin Services (36F79724D0069-36C24624N1025) for “CRASH CARTS” valued at $16,523, both delivered within 2024. The prior work is likely a continuation because the current RFQ is also for fully assembled Metro Lifeline Emergency Response crash carts (or brand name/equal), with similar functional requirements such as drawer locking and integrated medical equipment mounting.
