This BPA is for inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire extinguishers, across Vance AFB facilities. All work must comply with NFPA standards, UFC requirements, Air Force fire safety policies, and the Statement of Work (SOW).
Background The FY26 - FY31 Vance AFB Fire Extinguisher BPA is issued by the United States Air Force, specifically Vance Air Force Base (AFB), which is responsible for ensuring fire safety across its facilities. The goal of this contract is to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire extinguishers located at Vance AFB and Kegelman Auxiliary Airfield, ensuring compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and Air Force fire safety policies. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: - Conducting inspections and maintenance of all facility handheld fire extinguishers as listed in Appendix A. - Performing inspections that exceed a frequency of thirty-one days in accordance with NFPA 10. - Providing monthly updates to the Fire Prevention Office and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in Excel format. - Supplying loaner extinguishers when original units are taken out of service. - Completing scheduled maintenance including annual external and internal examinations, with costs for replacement parts covered by the contractor. - Submitting cost estimates for any repairs not covered under scheduled maintenance prior to execution. - Establishing inspection and maintenance records in accordance with NFPA 10. All tasks must be performed by certified personnel as required by NFPA 10. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided) Place of Performance The majority of work will take place at Vance AFB and Kegelman Auxiliary Airfield, Oklahoma. Access to Vance AFB requires personnel to meet specific security criteria including a Real ID and background checks. Bidder Requirements Bidders must ensure that all personnel conducting work are certified according to NFPA standards and meet security requirements for access to Vance AFB. Personnel with felony convictions are prohibited from entering the base.
