Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: - Conducting inspections and maintenance of all facility handheld fire extinguishers as listed in Appendix A. - Performing inspections that exceed a frequency of thirty-one days in accordance with NFPA 10. - Providing monthly updates to the Fire Prevention Office and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in Excel format. - Supplying loaner extinguishers when original units are taken out of service. - Completing scheduled maintenance including annual external and internal examinations, with costs for replacement parts covered by the contractor. - Submitting cost estimates for any repairs not covered under scheduled maintenance prior to execution. - Establishing inspection and maintenance records in accordance with NFPA 10. All tasks must be performed by certified personnel as required by NFPA 10.
