Summary: Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of entrance and parking signs at Mammoth Cave National Park. The goal of the contract is to enhance the park's signage, ensuring clear directions and improved visitor experience. This project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade park facilities. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following construction tasks: 1. Rehab sign/parking at Cedar Sink (Repair or alteration of parking facilities). 2. Rehab entrance/parking GRF road North (Construction of parking facilities). 3. Rehab entrance/parking Cedar Sink (Construction of parking facilities). 4. Rehab Sign/parking GRF North (Repair or alteration of parking facilities). 5. Rehab entrance/parking Chaumont (Repair or alteration of parking facilities). 6. Rehab Parking Area Chaumont (Construction of parking facilities). The contractor must provide all labor, parts, tools, equipment, supervision, and all incidentals necessary to complete the work as per the attached statement of work documentation. Period of Performance The contract will commence on September 1, 2026, and is expected to be completed by March 1, 2027. Place of Performance The construction projects will take place at Mammoth Cave National Park located in Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. Bidder Requirements This solicitation is a total small business set aside. Bidders must submit a Bid Guarantee (Bid Bond) with their proposal at 20% of the bid total. Contractors are required to furnish any necessary performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award. Additionally, contractors must possess relevant licenses and meet safety qualifications.
