Background

The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking proposals for Comprehensive Design and Construction Management / Program Management Services. This initiative aims to enhance the District's long-term resilience and sustainability by addressing diverse needs across critical categories, including strategic planning, comprehensive design, and effective management of complex projects. Suppliers are invited to contribute their expertise to ensure the successful execution of this ambitious endeavor.

Work Details

The contractor will provide comprehensive design and construction management services, which include but are not limited to: strategic planning, project scheduling, cost estimation, and oversight of construction activities. Specific roles include: - Program Manager (20 years experience) - Senior Project Manager (15 years experience) - Project Manager (10 years experience) - Entry Level Project Manager (5 years experience)

Business/Accounting Specialist

- Other staff as needed. Services will be billed hourly based on the qualifications of the personnel provided.

Period of Performance

The contract term will begin on a date to be determined and may extend up to 60 months with proper approval. The contractor must adhere to specified timelines for service delivery as outlined in purchase orders.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations as designated by MNPS within the Metropolitan Nashville area.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must possess all necessary licenses and certifications to perform under this contract. They must also comply with insurance requirements including: - General liability insurance ($1 million) - Automobile liability insurance ($1 million) - Professional liability insurance ($1 million) - Workers' compensation insurance as required by Tennessee law. Additionally, contractors must ensure compliance with criminal background checks for employees who will have contact with students.
