Sandy City - Gate, Garage & Rollup Door Repair

Background

Sandy City is seeking a vendor to provide maintenance services for gate, garage, and roll-up doors through a contractual agreement. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of these facilities across multiple buildings within the city. The initial contract term will commence upon signing or on July 1, 2026, and will run until June 30, 2027, with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods based on mutual agreement.

Work Details

The Contractor shall provide motorized gate, garage, and roll-up door maintenance services including: regular maintenance, repairs, inspections, and emergency call-outs for motorized gates, garages, and roll-up doors located within Sandy City. The Contractor must prioritize requests from Sandy City and respond on the same day for maintenance requests. For emergency call-outs, an immediate response is required. The pricing structure includes: - A standard hourly rate for services during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM) - An after-hours rate for services outside these hours including weekends and holidays - A dispatch charge per invoice for administrative expenses - A truck charge per invoice covering transportation costs - A markup percentage on parts used in maintenance and repair services - A scissor lift charge as needed. All charges except parts must be included in the bid.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from July 1, 2026 until June 30, 2027 with options to extend for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various facilities located within Sandy City.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit their proposals through the designated website. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing by June 15, 2026. Bids are due by June 17, 2026. Offerors are required to acknowledge any addendums in their proposal response.
