DFCM Construction - Prequalified Roofing Contractors - USDC - Rose Building Roof Replacement

Background

The State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is issuing a Stage II Invitation to Bid for the Rose Building Roof Replacement project at the Utah State Developmental Center in American Fork, Utah. This project aims to address structural truss repairs and roof replacement, with a construction cost estimate of $850,000. Only contractors who have been prequalified under a Stage I Prequalification for Contractors and are currently listed on the DFCM Prequalified Contractors list are eligible to bid.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: - Structural truss repairs and replacement - Complete roof replacement with asphalt shingles - Supporting and stabilizing gable masonry walls - Installation of pedestrian safety barriers and fencing as defined in contract documents. The project also requires compliance with DFCM Approved Fabricator List, Design Management Documents, Roofing Design Requirements, and the State of Utah High Performance Building Standard.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be prequalified under Stage I and listed on the DFCM Prequalified Contractors list. A mandatory meeting will be held for all prime contractors wishing to bid on this project. Bids must include a bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount submitted on the AIA Document A310 – 2010 Bid Bond form. Additionally, bidders must submit a DFCM Subcontractors List Form by the specified deadline.
