Work Details

The successful proposer will provide comprehensive claim administration services from the first report of injury until the closure of claims, including reopened claims. Key responsibilities include: - Receiving reports of injury via online, fax, or telephone; - Reviewing claims for compensability; - Conducting investigations; - Filing required reports with authorities; - Assigning necessary services such as defense counsel or nurse case management; - Establishing claim reserves; - Facilitating return-to-work programs; - Notifying excess carriers according to their guidelines. Additionally, the TPA must maintain a Claim Administration Manual specific to SDGC, respond to inquiries within 24 hours, conduct annual claim review meetings for significant claims, and hold annual stewardship meetings. The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, with options for renewal for up to four additional years.
