Miscellaneous Clothing & Promotional Items

Background

The State of Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Office of State Procurement Services (OSPS) is issuing this Request for Quotations (RFQ) on behalf of the Department of Transportation. The purpose is to procure miscellaneous clothing and promotional items, specifically focusing on clothing with embroidery and screen printing services. This RFQ aims to establish a contract that will allow various state departments to purchase these items as needed.

Work Details

The contractor will provide a range of clothing items including: - 3 Season Jackets in various sizes (e.g., SM-XL, XXL, XXXL) with DOT embroidered logos. - Sweatshirts in multiple sizes with MDOT embroidered designs. - T-shirts in different sizes, including tall options, featuring MDOT logos. - Long sleeve denim shirts with DOT & M&O embroidered logos. - Quarter zip sweatshirts with MAINE DOT Mtex logo printed. Additionally, the contractor must be able to reproduce current designs and create new designs for embroidery and screen-printing within specified turnaround times. All items must comply with the specifications outlined in Appendix B of the RFQ.

Period of Performance

The initial period of performance is from June 22, 2026, to June 30, 2028. There are optional extension periods available for up to three additional years.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed within the State of Maine, with delivery expected at various state facilities as specified in individual orders.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a notarized Code of Conduct Affidavit for all clothing items. They must also provide documentation proving compliance with workplace laws at the point of assembly. Bidders are required to have no debarments or suspensions from government contracts and must disclose any conflicts of interest. Additionally, bidders should be prepared to accept orders from municipalities and school districts in Maine.
