Levelock & Hughes M&I Engine Generator & Accessories Purchase

Background

The Alaska Energy Authority is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of long lead items for the RPSU M&I projects at Hughes and Levelock. The goal of this contract is to procure essential equipment to support these projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with federal regulations.

Work Details

The contract includes the purchase of the following items: 1. 1 unit of 223 HP John Deere 6068AFM Engine & Accessories 2. 2 units of 70,000 BTU/Hour Nominal Capacity Fuel Oil Cooler 3. 1 unit of 225ekW John Deere 6090HFM Engine-Generator & Accessories 4. 1 unit of 65ekW John Deere 4045AFM Engine-Generator & Accessories 5. Generator Accessories (1 lot including Wiring J-Box, Exhaust RTD, & Air Restriction Indicator) 6. 1 unit of 6,000 BTU/Minute Nominal Capacity Charge Air Cooler. The contract also requires load testing and packaging of each engine-generator set prior to delivery.

Period of Performance

The desired delivery schedule for all items is within 12 weeks from the award date, with the exception of the Charge Air Cooler which may have a delivery time exceeding 18 weeks.

Place of Performance

The delivery location for all items is specified as Alaska Energy Authority, located at 2601 Commercial Drive, Anchorage, AK 99501.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must include a completed and signed Debarment Certificate and a Build America Buy America Act Certificate with their quotation. Additionally, bidders must comply with federal assurances and requirements related to debarment and suspension as outlined in Appendix B.
