Summary: Background The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is seeking a contractor to perform critical repairs on detention door locks at the Davenport US District Courthouse in Iowa. The mission of this contract is to ensure compliance with Executive Order 14222 and the USMS CFO’s Mission-Critical Justification Memorandum, which emphasizes the importance of maintaining secure detention areas for the safety of personnel and the public. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for: - Performing preventative maintenance on 36 detention door locks, including specialized troubleshooting and repair of door #6, which is currently malfunctioning and requires manual operation with hard keys. - Ensuring that all repairs restore functionality to allow integration with the Electronic Security System (ESS). - Coordinating with onsite personnel, including the District Physical Security Specialist and Supervisory Deputy US Marshal, to align work schedules with court activities. - Completing all work within two weeks of commencement, barring any complications in procuring repair parts. - Providing all necessary tools and equipment for the repairs while ensuring no damage occurs to government property during the process. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from June 15, 2026, to June 14, 2027, with an option for an additional year.
