Background The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the supply and delivery of two (2) aluminum gooseneck stock trailers for the Umatilla National Forest. The purpose of this contract is to acquire these trailers as replacements for existing units, ensuring they meet specific technical requirements outlined in the Statement of Work. Work Details The contractor is required to supply and deliver two identical gooseneck horse trailers with the following specifications: - Stock package dimensions: 7’0” wide x 6’6” high x 18’0” long - Center gate without walkthrough - Rear gate with full swing, no slider, and 'western' package - Solid panels in rear gate - Two top airspaces - Skid resistant extruded aluminum floor - Rubber floor mat at least ¾” thick for 7’ x 18’ trailer - Coupler: 20K adjustable gooseneck, 2 5/16 adjustable - Two rubber torsion axles (7000#) with electric brakes - Single speed landing gear - LED light with switch under gooseneck - LED clearance lights and wraparound LED stop/turn lights with colored lenses - No vent on drop wall - Side panel with two top air spaces - Gooseneck sides minimum .040 thickness - Curbside escape door matching side panel air spacing - No side ramp, running boards, aluminum front sheets, tapered nose – stock/combo, natural sheet finish, spare tire carrier, skid plate, bumper rubber dock, roof rail – 2.5 radius type. Contractors must provide a brochure/information sheet detailing the specifications of the product offered. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is 90 days after receipt of order (ARO), with delivery required no later than September 30, 2026. Bidders must be either the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or an authorized distributor. If not an OEM or authorized distributor, vendors must provide traceability back to the manufacturer or authorized distributor. All offers must include a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and a brochure/information sheet stating the specifications of the product offered.
