Parks and Recreation HVAC Services

Background

The City of Gallatin Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals for the annual service of all Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment used in its Leisure Services. The goal is to ensure that all HVAC systems across various city facilities are maintained effectively to support the community's recreational needs.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment necessary to perform HVAC services at the following City of Gallatin Parks and Recreation Department facilities: 1. Gallatin Civic Center (65,000 sq ft) 2. Gallatin Municipal Park 3. Triple Creek Park 4. Clearview Park Community Building. Services include monthly preventive maintenance checks, quarterly inspections, annual cleaning of cooling coils, vacuuming drain pans, changing filters, servicing starters per manufacturer specifications, and maintaining records of operational logs for temperatures and pressures. Specific equipment includes Trane chillers and air conditioning units, Bell & Gossett water pumps, Acme exhaust fans, Reznor unit heaters, Bryan water heaters among others as detailed in Attachment B.

Period of Performance

The contract term is one year with an option for three one-year renewals at the discretion of the City of Gallatin Parks and Recreation Department.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Gallatin including the Civic Center, Municipal Park, Triple Creek Park, and Clearview Park Community Building.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a current State of Tennessee Mechanical Contractors License and provide proof of certification in Trane Building Automation/Summit Controls. Additional certifications such as NATE or equivalent are preferred. Proposals must include references from previous clients for similar services provided within the last two years.
