Background The U.S. Army has issued a solicitation for metric General Mechanic Tool Kits (GMTK) to support its fleet of helicopters. The goal of this contract is to provide essential tools that enable mechanics to perform maintenance on multiple aircraft simultaneously, particularly during high operational tempo (OPTEMPO) periods, such as border missions. This requirement is part of the Army's ongoing efforts to ensure readiness and operational efficiency. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of six (6) metric General Mechanic Tool Kits (GMTK). Each kit must contain a sufficient variety of tools necessary for mechanics to conduct phase level maintenance on helicopters. The kits should include foam shadowing for tool inventory purposes, although etching is not required. Compliance with the Buy American Act is mandatory for all offered products. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the product will be delivered to or performed at Bidder Requirements This solicitation is set aside for Small Business participation (100% Small Business Set-Aside).
