Sandy City - HVAC Maintenance & Repair

Background

Sandy City is seeking a vendor to provide HVAC maintenance and repair services through a contractual agreement. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of HVAC systems across multiple city facilities. The initial contract term will commence upon signing or on July 1, 2026, and will run until June 30, 2027, with an option for two additional one-year extensions based on mutual agreement.

Work Details

The Contractor shall provide HVAC maintenance services for designated facilities within Sandy City. Services include regular maintenance, repairs, inspections, and emergency call-outs for HVAC equipment. The Contractor must have certified HVAC technicians on staff, including those trained to diagnose and repair chillers up to 200 tons. Additionally, the Contractor should list several buildings they currently service with comparable or larger equipment and the number of Alerton certified programmers available. The Contractor must prioritize maintenance requests from Sandy City with same-day responses and immediate responses for emergency call-outs. Rates include: - A standard hourly rate during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM) - An after-hours rate for services outside these hours - An hourly rate for Alerton programming during regular hours - A truck charge per invoice for transportation and parts delivery costs - A markup percentage on all parts and materials used in maintenance and repair services.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective from the time of signing or July 1, 2026 until June 30, 2027, with options to extend for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various facilities located within Sandy City.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide details about their certified HVAC technicians and their capabilities. They should also include information about their experience servicing similar or larger equipment.
