Summary: Background The United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) is seeking to engage a contractor for low voltage cable removal services at their Headquarters (Building 3400). The mission of this contract is to ensure the safe identification and removal of legacy low-voltage cabling that poses safety risks and operational challenges due to its age and the decommissioning of various systems over multiple decades. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary for the removal of low voltage cables. The scope includes: 1. Safe identification of cabling to distinguish between active and inactive systems; 2. Elimination of energized abandoned circuits using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures; 3. Removal of unused and abandoned low-voltage cabling throughout Building 3400; 4. Maintenance of a safe operating environment ensuring remaining cabling is accessible and does not obstruct operations. The work is limited to safety-focused execution without system reconfiguration or documentation requirements. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the construction projects will be performed (if provided). Place of Performance Building 3400 at Headquarters United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM). Bidder Requirements Bidders must meet the requirements for a Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Additionally, contractors must provide bid/payment/performance bonds as well as necessary contractor licensing relevant to the scope of work.
