Newport Janitorial contract

Background

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for janitorial services at three of its Newport offices. The agency aims to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in its facilities, which are essential for operational efficiency and employee well-being. This contract is part of an intermediate procurement process, and the agency will not accept protests regarding this solicitation.

Work Details

The contractor will provide janitorial services at the following locations: - Newport Annex office (810 SW Alder St) - South Beach Annex office (3248 SE Ferry Slip) - Main office (2040 Science Marine Drive) Services include cleaning open areas, emptying trash, vacuuming/sweeping/mopping floors, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning restrooms, refilling dispensers, and maintaining cleanliness in lunch/break rooms. Specific tasks include: - Weekly cleaning of Newport Annex and South Beach Annex offices on weekends. - Bi-weekly cleaning of the Main office on Wednesdays and weekends. - Detailed cleaning tasks such as dusting surfaces, disinfecting phones, checking for cobwebs, and maintaining exterior cleanliness.

Period of Performance

The contract is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2026, and will run for three years until March 31, 2029. There is an option to renew for one additional year.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at three locations in Newport, Oregon: - Newport Annex office at 810 SW Alder St. - South Beach Annex office at 3248 SE Ferry Slip Road. - Main office at 2040 Science Marine Drive.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered in OregonBuys to be eligible for award. They must also provide a COBID Certification / Outreach Plan with their bid submission. Additionally, bidders are required to submit references from similar projects performed within the last five years.
