Summary: Background Luke Air Force Base (AFB) is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for all automatic doors located on the base. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these doors operate safely and in compliance with industry standards. This requirement is set aside for 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors, who must be certified by the SBA to be eligible for award. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for quarterly preventive maintenance, inspections, and repair services for all automatic doors as specified in Appendix B of the solicitation. Repairs must adhere to accepted commercial practices and utilize parts and tools specified by the automatic door manufacturer. The contractor must provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, parts, and labor necessary to maintain, repair, and replace automatic doors at Luke AFB. The work includes ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a base year plus four option years, starting from July 13, 2026, to July 12, 2027. Place of Performance All work will be performed at Luke Air Force Base located in Arizona. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be certified as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) by the SBA. They are required to provide documentation of their qualifications including active AAADM certification from the American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers (AAADM) to verify that their employees are qualified technicians capable of inspecting, testing, repairing, and servicing automatic door systems.
