Background

Various Departments and Agencies of the County of Hawai‘i plan to utilize professional services across several categories during the fiscal year 2026-2027, beginning approximately July 1, 2026. This initiative is in accordance with HRS Sec. 103D-304, which mandates competitive selection for such professional services.

Work Details

Interested parties are invited to submit statements of qualifications and expressions of interest that include: (1) Name of the firm or individual, contact information, principal place of business, and office locations; (2) Age of the firm and average number of employees over the past five years; (3) Education, training, and qualifications of key employees; (4) A list of recent projects and names of up to five clients who may be contacted; (5) Any promotional or descriptive literature. Firms wishing to be considered for multiple service categories must submit separate forms for each category along with a cover letter indicating the specific service category.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed during the fiscal year 2026-2027, starting approximately July 1, 2026.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed in various locations within the County of Hawai‘i.

Bidder Requirements

Firms must provide appropriate forms and copies of professional licenses for each category they wish to be considered for. All engineering professionals must include State Form DPW-120 or equivalent Federal form along with their professional license details.
