Background

The Maine Army National Guard (MEARNG) is seeking to establish a contract for comprehensive preventive maintenance, testing, and inspections of sprinkler and fire panel systems across various facilities. The goal is to ensure the safety and compliance of fire protection systems in alignment with national standards.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following services: - Preventive maintenance of sprinkler systems and fire panels at designated locations. - Conducting thorough testing and inspections of all components including but not limited to:

Fire Pump Systems

Specific locations include various armories and facilities such as Augusta Armory, Bangor AFRC, Brewer Armory, Camp Keyes, and others as listed in the solicitation. Each location may have different quantities and types of equipment requiring maintenance.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a specified period which will be detailed in the solicitation documents, typically spanning several months to ensure all facilities are serviced adequately.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at multiple locations throughout Maine, including but not limited to Augusta, Bangor, Brewer, Calais, Camp Keyes, Lewiston, Norway, Sanford, Skowhegan, Waterville, and Westbrook armories.

Bidder Requirements
