Background

The Rhode Island Convention Center Authority (RICCA) oversees the management of the Rhode Island Convention Center, its parking garages, and the Amica Mutual Pavilion. The goal of this contract is to secure window cleaning services for these facilities, ensuring they maintain a clean and professional appearance for events and visitors.

Work Details

The successful vendor will provide comprehensive window cleaning services including: 1. **Rhode Island Convention Center**: - All interior and exterior windows and windowsills, including the rotunda, meeting room 557, and administrative windows overlooking the lobby. - Tops of canopies outside entrances on Sabin Street. - Interior and exterior windows on the sky bridge connecting to the OMNI Hotel and the AMP. 2. **Amica Mutual Pavilion**: - Interior and exterior windows on the east, west, and south sides; entrance doors are excluded. - Office exterior windows above the AMP lobby. 3. **Parking Garages**: - Interior and exterior windows in stairwells of both North and South Parking Garages. - Elevator car windows in the North Parking Garage. - Windows in stairwells of the Innovation District Garage. 4. **Cleaning Standards**: - Use of commercial-rated equipment and environmentally friendly cleaning supplies is required, including Green Seal certified products. - All areas must be protected during cleaning to prevent damage or residue buildup.

Period of Performance

The contract will be for a term of three (3) years with provisions for termination with thirty (30) days' notice.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Rhode Island Convention Center, Rhode Island Convention Center Parking Garage, Amica Mutual Pavilion, and Innovation District Garage located in Providence, Rhode Island.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must demonstrate experience in providing similar services, provide financial statements, references from previous clients, and indicate if they are a Minority Business Enterprise certified by the Rhode Island Department of Economic Development. The vendor must maintain comprehensive general liability insurance coverage of $2 million aggregate and $1 million per occurrence.
