Background

The Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government, through its Office of Facilities Management, is seeking proposals for painting services, repairs, maintenance, and small scope renovations on various properties owned, operated, or controlled by the Metro Government. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these properties are maintained in a high-quality condition through professional painting and renovation services.

Work Details

The contractor will provide comprehensive painting services including: - Wall preparation for priming and painting - Wall patching regardless of wall material - Wall base removal and replacement - Removal of wall coverings - Moving of furniture - Removal and replacement of wall hangings - Prime painting (rolled or sprayed) - Finish coat painting (rolled or sprayed) - Wall covering installation. The contract will be an Annual Unit Price Contract with hourly wage rates for services. The contractor must provide all necessary tools without additional cost to Metro. All work must comply with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA requirements.

Period of Performance

The contract will be in place for one year with options for renewal for up to five consecutive years based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various properties owned or controlled by the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government within the Louisville area.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered with the Louisville Metro Revenue Commission and comply with affirmative action requirements regarding employment and subcontracting of minority, female, and handicapped-owned businesses.
