Emergency Power System Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Emergency Response Services

Background

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) was established to manage programs and services previously provided by the Indian Health Service Alaska Area Office and the Alaska Native Medical Center. The ANTHC Health Facilities Engineering (HFE) Department is seeking comprehensive services for preventative maintenance, inspection, repair, calibration, and emergency response for emergency power systems at their facilities in Anchorage, Alaska. These systems are critical for protecting healthcare operations and sensitive materials, ensuring operational readiness and minimizing risks associated with catastrophic failures.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and reporting necessary to perform preventative maintenance, testing, repair services, predictive diagnostics, and emergency support for emergency power systems across multiple locations in Anchorage. Specific tasks include: 1. **Preventative Maintenance** - Conducted a minimum of twice a year including comprehensive inspections of generator systems and automatic transfer switches (ATS). 2. **Diagnostic Services** - Required due to equipment failure or changes in operational conditions. 3. **Emergency Repair Services** - Timely response to service calls as defined in the scope of work. 4. **Annual Load Bank Testing** - Required for specific facilities with documentation submitted upon completion. 5. **Documentation Requirements** - Detailed service reports must be provided for each visit including summaries of work performed and any deficiencies noted.

Period of Performance

The initial contract term is one year from the date of award with options to renew for two additional one-year terms based on satisfactory performance.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various ANTHC facilities located in Anchorage, Alaska including: - Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) - University Lake Medical Center (ULMC) - Healthy Communities Building (HCB) - Consortium Office Building (COB) - Patient Housing at ANMC (PH) - Patient Housing Parking Garage (PG) - Grace Hall (GRACE) - CST.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must have a valid Alaska Business License prior to contract award and hold all necessary professional licenses including a State of Alaska Contractor’s License and Electrical Administrator's License. Contractors must not be listed on SAM.gov as suspended or debarred parties.
