Substitute Teaching & Paraprofessional Services

Background

The Colonial School District, in collaboration with the Red Clay Consolidated School District, is seeking proposals for Substitute Teaching and Paraprofessional Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that both districts can effectively manage staffing needs in educational settings, providing quality education and support to students.

Work Details

The contractor will provide substitute teaching and paraprofessional services as needed by the Colonial School District and Red Clay Consolidated School District. This includes but is not limited to: - Recruiting, training, and managing substitute teachers and paraprofessionals; - Ensuring compliance with all relevant educational regulations; - Maintaining a pool of qualified substitutes available for immediate deployment; - Providing ongoing support and communication with school administrators regarding staffing needs.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will be effective for a period of one year, with options for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of the Colonial School District and Red Clay Consolidated School District in Delaware.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed to operate in the State of Delaware. They must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Additionally, bidders are required to provide proof of insurance coverage including public liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and any other necessary coverage as specified in the solicitation documents.
