Consulting for Library Literacy Services and Partnership Development

Background

The State of Delaware Department of State, Division of Libraries (DDL) is seeking professional consulting services for the development of library literacy services and partnerships statewide. This initiative is part of ongoing multiyear projects that require specific expertise. The RFP is issued under the authority of 29 Del. C. §§ 6981 and 6982.

Work Details

The consulting services will include: - Research, design, development, and implementation of library literacy services. - Partnership development and communications strategies. - Weekly updates/reports to the State Librarian or designee are required. - Potential travel expenses to represent Delaware Libraries at national and regional events may be included, subject to state travel policy. Refer to Attachment B for the complete Scope of Work.

Period of Performance

The contract will be for one year with three optional extensions for a period of one year each.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed statewide in Delaware.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must provide proof of Delaware license(s) and/or certification(s) necessary to perform the services outlined in the scope of work. Additionally, vendors must furnish proof of insurance prior to the start of the contract period, with coverage amounts specified in Section V, Item G, subsection 7.
