The Siouxland Nexus Program Volume 5 Tanker Warm Up and Holding Pad Project involves the construction of a new 30,000 square yard concrete warm-up and holding pad at Sioux Gateway Airport / Brigadier General Bud Day Field. The work supports the Iowa Air National Guard 185th Air Refueling Wing's KC-135 mission. The project scope includes: - Installation of concrete shoulders - Airfield lighting systems - Pavement markings - Electrical infrastructure - All associated sitework - Required demolition There are two project alternates:

Alternate One

Concrete thickness of 18 versus 16

Alternate Two

FAA electrical communications cable duct relocation Who is Requesting: This solicitation is issued in support of the Iowa Air National Guard 185th Air Refueling Wing.

The project is located at Sioux Gateway Airport / Brigadier General Bud Day Field and is intended to enhance operational capabilities for the KC-135 mission.

Contract Requirements

The contractor must complete all aspects of the construction, including installation of the specified infrastructure, sitework, and demolition, as well as the selected alternates.
