Tele-Health (Counseling Services)

Background

Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is seeking a qualified telehealth provider to deliver mental health services specifically tailored for student-athletes. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these services comply with NCAA guidance, thereby supporting the mental well-being of student-athletes at EKU.

Work Details

The contractor will provide telehealth mental health services, which include counseling and psychological support for student-athletes. The services must adhere to NCAA guidelines and be delivered in a manner that meets the unique needs of this demographic. The RFP emphasizes the importance of licensed providers who can offer these specialized services effectively.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will commence upon award and continue through June 30, 2026. There is an option for up to four consecutive one-year renewal periods, making the total potential contract duration not to exceed five years, contingent upon the university's needs and satisfaction with the contractor's performance.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed remotely via telehealth platforms, accessible to student-athletes at Eastern Kentucky University.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be qualified and licensed mental health providers. They are required to create an account in EKU's Jaggaer eProcurement system to submit proposals. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance as outlined in the RFP requirements.
