Work Details

The contractor will provide security patrol services at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Post Falls, requiring two uniformed Security Officers: one day shift officer (who acts as a supervisor) and one swing shift officer. Responsibilities include visitor assistance, conducting regular patrols, reporting emergencies or incidents, maintaining daily logs, and ensuring compliance with facility policies. Officers must communicate with front desk staff when leaving their posts and are prohibited from carrying firearms or less-lethal defense items on facility grounds. The contractor is responsible for supplying uniforms at no cost to IDVS, which must be professional and clearly identify the contractor's company name. Additionally, all personnel must undergo criminal history and background checks at the contractor's expense.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal extending up to five years upon mutual agreement.
