DFCM Construction - Logan Fish Hatchery Fencing - Department of Natural Resources/DWR

Background

The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is seeking bids from Stage II Prequalified General Contractors for the construction of a concrete prefabricated fence at the Logan Fish Hatchery, which is part of the Department of Natural Resources/DWR. The project aims to enhance security and delineate property boundaries at the hatchery located in Logan, Utah. The estimated construction cost is $176,800.00.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: 1. Construction of a concrete prefabricated fence along the south property line of the fish hatchery property. 2. Additive Alternate #1: Installation of an 8-foot chain link gate at the east entrance. The contractor must adhere to DFCM Approved Fabricator List, DFCM Design Management Documents, and comply with State of Utah High Performance Building Standards.

Period of Performance

The substantial completion date for this project is set for December 30, 2026.

The work will be performed at the Logan Fish Hatchery located at 1469 W 200 N, Logan, UT 84321.

Bidder Requirements

Only contractors who have been prequalified under Stage I are eligible to bid on this project. Contractors must submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of their bid using AIA Document A310 – 2010 Bid Bond form or an equivalent form. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a list of all first-tier subcontractors within 24 hours after bid opening.
