Interchangeable Counter Mats

Background

The Rhode Island Lottery, part of the Department of Revenue, is seeking bids for the provision of interchangeable magnetic counter mats. The goal of this contract is to supply high-quality counter mats that meet specific design and material requirements for use in lottery operations.

Work Details

The contractor will provide 2000 interchangeable magnetic counter mats with the following specifications:

Backing Material

1/8” rubber backing - Finish: .012” scratch-resistant vinyl

Display Area Size

18” H x 20” W

Overall Size

20” H x 22” W - Color: Blue (Pantone 3005U) border with a white background - Lettering: White lettering on the blue border - Description: Mats must have full magnetic closures for easy change-outs, with openings along the top and two sides (not the bottom) and rounded edges. A sample counter mat of equal quality must be submitted with the sealed bid. Additionally, an electronic proof and pre-production sample must be approved by the Rhode Island Lottery prior to production.

Period of Performance

The estimated delivery time for the completed mats is required to be within 3 to 4 weeks after final product sample approval. Bids are due by June 16, 2026.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the Rhode Island Lottery located at 1425 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must confirm registration as a State vendor on the State Purchasing website. Vendors must also provide a sample counter mat of equal quality with their sealed bid and include three references with names, addresses, and telephone numbers. Additionally, vendors must comply with any applicable Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Woman Business Enterprises (WBE), Disability Business Enterprise (DisBE), or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) certifications.
