Ada County Sheriff's Office Records Remodel 2026

Background

The Ada County Sheriff's Office is undertaking a project to remodel the Records area within the Public Safety Building located at 7200 W. Barrister Dr., Boise, Idaho. The goal of this contract is to expand the Records area to accommodate more office space by moving customer-facing windows further into the lobby and enclosing that space. This project aligns with the agency's mission to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all materials and labor necessary for the expansion of the Records area in the Ada County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Building. Specific tasks include moving customer-facing windows into the main lobby, enclosing that space, and adhering to specifications detailed in the Project Manual and drawings. The work must comply with all applicable codes and regulations.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed, which is estimated to occur within ten days after contract execution. Substantial completion must be achieved within 180 days from that date, followed by final completion within 7 days thereafter.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Ada County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Building located at 7200 W. Barrister Dr., Boise, Idaho 83704.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed under the Idaho Public Works Contractor Act. They are required to submit a Bidder’s Bid Form, which includes listing any subcontractors for HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work. A performance bond and labor/material payment bond equal to 100% of the contract amount must be provided by a surety company with an AM Best rating of A-VIII or better. Additionally, bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 16, 2026.
