Gas Cylinder Rentals for MSP

Background

The Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) is seeking quotes for gas cylinder rentals specifically for the Mississippi State Penitentiary (MSP). The goal of this contract is to provide necessary gas supplies to support operations at the facility. The contract will be awarded to a responsive and responsible bidder who submits the lowest quote.

Work Details

The contractor will provide gas cylinder rentals including but not limited to the following items:

Forklift Propane

30 cylinders for Central Warehouse, 28 cylinders for Food Service, 24 cylinders for Maintenance Shop, and 20 cylinders for Welding Shop. - Oxygen: 16 cylinders of HP OX-2, 2 cylinders of HP OX-20, and additional oxygen supplies across various departments. - Acetylene: Various types including small per cylinder cap (16), WS small (Linde style) flat (8), and MC (8). - Argon/CO2 mixture: 12 cylinders. - Nitrogen: 8 cylinders. - Additional fees include delivery fees, environmental compliance fees, fuel surcharges, and demand charges for argon. All quantities and unit measures are specified in the Gas Cylinder Rental Quote Form.

Period of Performance

The contract term will be for one year, beginning on or about July 1, 2026.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the Mississippi State Penitentiary located at Highway 49, Parchman, MS 38738.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered with both the State of Mississippi and the Mississippi Secretary of State to receive a supplier number. This registration is mandatory for participation in the bidding process.
