Battery Powered Tote Mixers

Background

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is seeking to procure six battery-powered paint tote mixers for use in waterborne paint striping operations. This solicitation is released in lieu of a previously issued solicitation and aims to ensure that the selected product meets specific requirements outlined in the solicitation documents. The goal is to enhance UDOT's operational efficiency by providing reliable mixing equipment for road paint applications.

Work Details

The contractor will provide six (6) battery-powered paint tote mixers, which must include the following specifications: - Each mixer must be battery-powered with the battery included. - Minimum power requirement of at least 1 HP. - Capability for variable speeds with both horizontal and vertical rotations. - Programmable with different operating/mixing modes. - Equipped with two pairs of stainless steel folding blades. - A shaft length sufficient to mix road paints of moderate viscosities in large 345-gallon totes. - A total of six batteries must be provided, one for each mixer.

Period of Performance

The mixers must be delivered prior to the fiscal year end of June 30, 2026.

Delivery is to be made to the Utah Department of Transportation, Maintenance, Asset & Facility Management Division, Attention: Abdul Wakil, located at 4501 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, Utah 84129.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders are required to submit detailed specifications and drawings demonstrating that their proposed product meets the stated requirements. Additionally, bidders must certify that they have not been debarred or suspended by any government agency and disclose any potential conflicts of interest or outstanding tax liens.
