The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to NIDA Corporation for OEM parts compatible with NIDA Model 130 series trainers and associated courseware. NIDA Corporation LLC has been identified as the only source that can provide this requirement for Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training. NIDA is the only source that has the Proprietary Hardware Interface, Integrated Fault-Logic, Software Synchronization, Warranty, and Active Monitoring for parts for the NIDA Model 130 Series technical training sytems that are manufactured and distributed exclusively by NIDA Corporation LLC. This proposed action is a Firm Fixed Price contract. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) that these items fall under is 334419 Other Electric Component Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 (Number of employees). This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to provide this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within three (3) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable items are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a sole-source contract, a sole source contract award will be made. Response to this notice is to be sent to patrick.m.joiner.civ@us.navy.mil. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no written responses are received by 12:00 p.m. E.S.T, June 05, 2026, the contract will be solicited without further notice.

NIDA Corporation LLC is identified as the only source that can provide this requirement for the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training, as they possess proprietary technology essential for the operation of these training systems. Work Details The contract requires the procurement of specialized, proprietary experiment and fault-finding cards designed exclusively for the NIDA Model 130 Series technical training system. The components are critical for conducting hands-on electronics troubleshooting training for students in the Aviation Electronics Technician (Intermediate) (ATI) and Aviation Electronics Technician (Organizational) (ATO) 'A' Schools. The contractor will provide genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts from NIDA Corporation that are fully compatible with existing NIDA Model 130 series trainers and associated courseware. Significant characteristics include: 1. Proprietary Hardware Interface: Cards must utilize NIDA's unique, gold-plated, self-cleaning pin design and feature the 'critical card keying' mechanical footprint. 2. Integrated Fault-Logic: Cards must contain NIDA's proprietary internal relays and solid-state switches essential for automated fault insertion. 3. Bidirectional Communication: Components must support the 'Card Feedback' protocol to allow identification and verification of inserted cards. 4. Software Synchronization: Hardware must function seamlessly with NIDA's proprietary Computer Managed Instruction (CMI) and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) software. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the product will be delivered to or performed at Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide clear evidence of their ability to supply the specified OEM parts from NIDA Corporation. No generic UEI requirements or boilerplate will be considered.
