Background The National Park Service, ConOps Central Nekota MABO, is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to purchase and install various components on propane tanks at Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The goal of the contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the propane tank systems at this significant national landmark. Work Details The work consists of: 1. Removal of existing Vaporizer. 2. Providing a new vaporizer that is equal to the existing one. 3. Removal of existing Rectifiers and Anodes as part of Cathodic Protection. 4. Replacement of the Cathodic Protection system in kind with new components. 5. Commissioning the new Vaporizer and ensuring that cathodic protection is active. 6. Providing all necessary tools, equipment, and materials to complete the replacement tasks. 7. Fully cleaning up the site, removing all old parts, disposing off-site, and recycling according to Rapid City Landfill policy. 8. Ensuring a 100% working replacement of both the Vaporizer and Cathodic Protection System. Period of Performance The specific period of performance will be outlined in the official solicitation; however, it is expected that work will commence following the issuance of the RFQ. Place of Performance Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Bidder Requirements This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. Bidders must have a valid UEI number and be registered and active, having completed their Online Representations and Certifications by the time of solicitation close date.
