Appraisal Services

Background

The State of Delaware, through its Department of Government Support Services, is seeking professional services for Real Estate Appraisal Services. This initiative is part of the agency's commitment to ensuring accurate property valuations for various state needs. The contract aims to engage a vendor capable of delivering comprehensive appraisal services in compliance with state regulations.

Work Details

The selected vendor will provide a range of appraisal services as outlined in the Appendices attached to the agreement. Specific tasks include conducting real estate appraisals, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. The vendor must also be prepared to handle any changes in scope as directed by Delaware, including submitting change orders for approval when necessary. The vendor will be responsible for maintaining the quality and accuracy of all deliverables and must adhere to the standards set forth by the Department of Technology and Information (DTI).

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will commence on the effective date specified in the agreement and may extend for two additional one-year periods based on mutual agreement between the vendor and Delaware. The state reserves the right to extend the contract on a month-to-month basis for up to three months after the initial term.

Place of Performance

The services will primarily be performed within the State of Delaware, with specific locations determined based on appraisal assignments.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must possess a valid business license to operate in Delaware as per 30 Del. C. § 2101. Additionally, vendors are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage, including but not limited to general liability, automotive liability, and professional liability insurance as specified in the contract terms.
