Legend Golf Course Renovation and Irrigation Replacement, Giants Ridge Golf Course

Work Requested

The contract involves a comprehensive renovation and irrigation replacement at the Legend Golf Course, Giants Ridge Golf Course. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: - Golf course green construction - Bunker construction - Irrigation and grassing construction Specific tasks to be completed under the contract are: - Mobilization, obtaining permits, and installation of the proposed SWPPP - Clearing undergrowth and trees, and cutting stumps to grade - Spraying herbicides (to be performed by the Owner unless Alternate 8 is accepted) - Scalping, verti-cutting, and aerifying existing turf (by Owner unless Alternate 9 is accepted) - Stripping turf and topsoil in areas to be graded, and stockpiling materials - Coring existing sand/mix from sand bunkers, tees, and greens - Demolishing and disposing of cart paths, and replacing with new cart paths where indicated - Mass grading and shaping of designated areas (partial) - Replacing and installing new drain pipes - Expanding 10 greens to their original dimensions - Building 10 new green complexes, complete - Building, leveling, and installing new mix on all main tee complexes; building 16 new forward tees and 1 new back tee on hole 18 (and others, if alternate bids are accepted) - Installing a complete new irrigation system and upgrading the pump station - Removing sand, rebuilding and/or removing sand bunkers as shown on plans, and installing new sand - Soil preparation, fertilization, amendment, and grassing (sod or seed as shown on plans)
