Work Requested

The City of New Hampton, Iowa is seeking a contractor for the reconstruction of utilities and pavement in the residential areas along Logan Street (from Linn Avenue to Alta Avenue) and Cleveland Street (from Linn Avenue to Locust Avenue). The scope of work includes: - Removal and replacement of sidewalk, driveway approaches, parking lot, and street paving - Removal and replacement of sanitary sewer, sanitary sewer manholes, water mains, water main appurtenances and hydrants - Removal and replacement of storm sewer, storm sewer intakes, and water, sanitary, and storm sewer service connections - Traffic control and staging to maintain residential property access as much as possible - Construction of project roadways over modified subbase, requiring Class 10 excavation - Additional minor construction items, such as clearing and grubbing, topsoil strip/salvage/import, seeding, erosion control, construction survey, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) management, temporary mailboxes, and coordination of solid waste collection
