2026 FCM MAC Building Improvements

Background

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is issuing a contract for building improvements at the Executive Aviation Building located at Flying Cloud Airport. The goal of this project is to enhance the facility through various repairs and upgrades, ensuring it meets operational standards and safety requirements.

Work Details

The project involves miscellaneous building repairs which include: 1. Replacement of existing aluminum storefront windows. 2. Masonry repairs to ensure structural integrity. 3. Installation of new snow guards, gutters, and downspouts on a portion of the existing metal roof.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by June 16, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Executive Aviation Building, Flying Cloud Airport, located in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with Minnesota Statute, Section 473.144 regarding affirmative action plans for contracts exceeding $100,000. Additionally, there is a goal for the utilization of Small Businesses (SB) set at 15% for this project. Bidders are required to submit evidence of compliance with these requirements within one business day following the bid opening.
