Greenbelt Repair - Wood Duck Island

Background

The City of Boise, Idaho, is seeking bids for the Greenbelt Repair project at Wood Duck Island. The project aims to enhance the greenbelt area by removing existing pathways and constructing new concrete paths, thereby improving accessibility and aesthetics in line with the city's mission to serve its citizens effectively.

Work Details

The scope of work for this contract includes: - Saw cutting, demolition, and removal of existing concrete walk, asphalt paving, landscaping, and existing trees. - Minor site grading, earthwork, and drainage improvements. - Utility relocation and repair. - Installation of a new concrete sidewalk, curb, and asphalt repair. - Repair of irrigation systems. - Landscape restoration including tree preservation and sod installation. - Erosion control measures including installation of a 6’ height chain link fence for site security during construction.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from June 1, 2026, until June 24, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Wood Duck Island in Boise, Idaho.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check amounting to 5% of the bid total. Contractors must be properly licensed by the state of Idaho for any plumbing, HVAC or electrical work they intend to self-perform. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a signed bid proposal signature page along with their submission.
