Background

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), part of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), is seeking qualified firms to provide on-call planning, design, and consulting services. This RFQ aims to establish a pool of qualified sources for various professional design, engineering, and specialty consulting needs across multiple disciplines including architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, medical facilities, audio visual design, data engineering, and furniture specialist services. The intent is to support the Planning and Construction Department at UNLV.

Work Details

The selected firms will provide a range of services including: - Architecture & Engineering: Design, planning, and technical consulting with a focus on safety and technical excellence. - Medical & Health Facilities: Experience in sensitive medical environments addressing patient care, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and specialized testing protocols. Projects may include laboratory upgrades and operating room renovations.

Interior Design

Expertise in space programming and FF&E implementation. Firms may submit qualifications for up to three specialties from the following: 1. Architecture (General) 2. Architectural & Engineering - Planning, Design, and Consulting Services for Medical and Health Clinic Facilities. 3. Geotechnical Engineering 4. Civil Engineering 5. Structural Engineering 6. Mechanical Engineering 7. Electrical Engineering 8. Audio Visual Design and Engineering 9. Data Design and Engineering 10. Interior Design.

Period of Performance

The contract will have an initial term of one year with options to renew for up to four additional one-year periods (not exceeding five years total).

Place of Performance

Services will be performed primarily at UNLV's campus located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bidder Requirements

Proposers must maintain a local office within a fifty-mile radius of UNLV staffed with primary project personnel. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the NGEM system by the specified deadline. Proposers are required to comply with all applicable federal and state regulations including OSHA, EPA, ADA, HIPAA among others.
