This is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) JBER will hosts an Open House Airshow this year. We have a request for a vendor to provide aerial & static displays (IAW the PWS) of WWII trainer aircraft for a heritage flight supporting the Arctic Thunder Open House Air Show. Aerial demonstration of the 1952 Harvard IV & 1942 T-6 Texan are required. Static displays of the L-13 & 1942 BT-13 are required. Background Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) is hosting a large Air Show as an outreach to the local community and Alaskan population at large. This Air Show will require multiple events from 7-9 August 2026. Work Details The Contractor will enable an aerial demonstration and static displays of the following aircraft at the 2026 Air Show (Arctic Thunder Open House 2026): 1952 Harvard IV (T-6G), 1942 AT-6D Texan, 1942 Consolidated BT-13, and 1946 L-13 Dragon Fly. The contractor will provide logistic support including: - 1 fuel truck with 1100LL - 3 permanent anchors for each aircraft - Hangar space for all aircraft in case of inclement weather - All ropes, chocks, and straps needed to secure the aircraft. The attending aircraft will arrive at JB Elmendorf-Richardson no later than Thursday, 6 August 2026. The pilots will participate in daily safety briefings and flying schedules on the practice day (7 August) and both air show days (8-9 August). Additionally, pilots will participate in a daily 'hot wash'/lessons learned session as directed by the Air Boss. Pilots must follow guidance from AF Manual 10-1004. Period of Performance Base period is from 7-9 August 2026. Place of Performance Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK 99506. Bidder Requirements The contractor must provide FAA formation certification card evidence for any aviator participating. The contractor is responsible for insurance and liability of their personnel in support of the Air Show. All contractors will be escorted during planning, setup, and teardown.
