FTZ Elevator Maintenance

Background

The Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) is a State facility located at 521 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, Hawaii, with the mission to increase international trade activity in Hawaii. This solicitation aims to obtain elevator maintenance services for the FTZ’s Pier 2 facility.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to maintain two (2) OTIS GEN2 passenger elevators and one (1) SAVARIA wheelchair lift at the FTZ Pier 2 location. Specific requirements include: - Monthly inspections and maintenance for the two OTIS GEN2 elevators with two stops each. - Quarterly inspections and maintenance for the SAVARIA wheelchair lift (capacity 750#, speed 20fpm). - Emergency minor adjustment callback services must be provided within two hours of request from the FTZ. - A written report of all services performed must be submitted to the Officer-in-Charge (OIC). - The contractor must check in with the OIC before and after performing any work.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on or about July 1, 2026, and will terminate on June 30, 2027, with the possibility of three additional yearly extensions.

Place of Performance

All services will be performed at the Foreign-Trade Zone No. 9 located at Pier 2, 521 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a Certificate of Vendor Compliance through Hawaii Compliance Express prior to contract award. They are also required to have necessary licenses and insurance coverage including commercial general liability insurance ($1 million per occurrence), automobile liability insurance ($1 million), and workers' compensation as required by law.
