Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Training for Capital City Fire and Rescue

Work Requested

The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is seeking proposals from highly qualified consultants to provide Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Training for Capital City Fire and Rescue (CCFR) personnel. This training will be conducted in coordination with local law enforcement partners. The contractor must possess professional-level experience in training first responder personnel in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care. The selected proposer will be responsible for completing the training as detailed in the scope of work and deliverables outlined in the RFP. Who is Requesting: This solicitation is issued by the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ), specifically for Capital City Fire and Rescue (CCFR).

Background

The intent of this contract is to enhance the capabilities of CCFR personnel by providing specialized TECC training, ensuring effective emergency response in coordination with local law enforcement. The City aims to enter into a contract with a responsible and responsive proposer who meets the requirements specified in the RFP.

Contract Requirements

- Professional-level experience in TECC training for first responders is mandatory. - Training must be delivered as specified in the scope of work and deliverables.

- A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on 6/11/2026 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Alaska time via teleconference. To participate, call 907-713-2140 and use Participation ID Code 748914. - Contractors interested in attending should email CBJ Purchasing at purchasing@juneau.gov at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the meeting to provide notice of participation and submit any questions. - All questions and requests for interpretation must be submitted in writing, referencing the issuing buyer, solicitation number, and title, via email to purchasing@juneau.gov. - The deadline for submitting questions is seven (7) calendar days before the solicitation deadline.
