Background

The Municipality of Anchorage, through its Parks and Recreation Department, is seeking bids for the construction of the Peter’s Creek Dog Park. This project aims to develop an off-leash dog park within the Eagle River/Chugiak Parks and Recreation Service Area, identified as a community priority in the Eagle River Dog Park Study. The project is located in Peters Creek Park along the Old Glenn Highway.

Work Details

The work under this contract includes but is not limited to: - Approximately 400 cubic yards of usable excavation; - 1380 tons of classified fill and backfill; - 120 tons of leveling course; - 121 tons of A.C. pavement; - 250 linear feet of trench and backfill; - Installation of 3 light poles and foundations; - Installation of 1 load center (Type 1A); - Installation of 2,232 linear feet of woven wire fabric moose fence; - Construction of a paved parking lot with 17 stalls and vehicle access gate; - Enclosed double gated entrance on a concrete slab; - Grading for proper drainage and utility coordination.

Period of Performance

Construction must begin within five (5) working days after receiving a written Notice-to-Proceed and must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Peters Creek Park, located along Peters Creek on the Old Glenn Highway, between the North Birchwood and Peters Creek Glenn Highway exits in Eagle River, Alaska.

Bidder Requirements
